Adam - Internationally published photographer and filmmaker based in Japan, capturing weddings, documentary stories, and ocean adventures.

Hailing from Western Australia and now based in Japan for over 16 years, Adam Serra Sanfelin is a wedding photographer whose passion, hobby, and career are all rooted in photography. From intimate elopements to full celebrations, he captures weddings across Japan with a focus on authentic, timeless storytelling.

Adam’s wedding photography was broadcast nationally across Japan on NHK in 2023 and continues to be rerun. His documentary work has been published in Fujilove Magazine (2020 & 2022) in a 10-page feature about his hometown and the fishermen who sustain it. In 2018, his sunrise photograph was featured on the front page of Dainik Bhaskar, one of India’s largest newspapers. He has also collaborated with Tamron Australia on a lens series in high-action sports environments.

A former pilot with a love for the ocean and Japanese culture, Adam brings curiosity, adventure, and a playful spirit to his photography. Married for 20 years with three children, he knows how important real, heartfelt moments are—and photography is his way of preserving them forever.
